Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno surveyed Lapangan Banteng revitalization project on the location on Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat, Pasar Baru Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

Lapangan Banteng's Playground Revitalization is Targeted to Finish OctoberHe hopes Lapangan Banteng revitalization could be completed in March 2018 thus it can be used to awaken people spirit towards Asian Games XVIII.
"We want it to be completed soon. Thus it can be used for community activities in generating Asian Games excitement," he stated.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muchlisin mentioned three segments in Lapangan Banteng Revitalization. There are making separator fence between fields, park arrangement, and Pembebasan Irian Barat Statue.
